The Complete System for Cortical Anchorage
Cortical anchorage is now even simpler and safer with the new auxiliaries of the OrthoEasy® pin system by FORESTADENT.
If canine retraction, molar distallisation and rapid palatal expansion are required - the OrthoEasy® pin by FORESTADENT and its various auxiliaries for orthodontic anchorage challenges can meet the demands by using only one system. The intelligent concept does not only offer an uncomplicated system but also a safe application for the practitioner.
The OrthoEasy® pin is self-cutting thanks to its extra sharp shark like cuts. The design of the thread peak offers safe and easy passage through the gingiva and corticalis. The innovative head is arranged in the familiar bracket design with a .022” x .025” slot, versatile through its circular undercut and hence as easy to use as a bracket.
The OrthoEasy® auxiliaries fit precisely and are versatile. To give you an example, the pre-bent L- and U-anchor are available in two optimal sizes (.019” x .025” for flush connection to the mini-screw and .016” x .016” specifically for the auxiliary slot of the Quick brackets). Furthermore, laboratory abutments for easy interlinking of laboratory appliances (e.g. frog and RPE appliance) to the OrthoEasy® pins, a power arm for en masse retraction and slipping mechanics or an X-ray pin for preoperative diagnostics and valuation of the anatomical structures are obtainable within the OrthoEasy® pin system. The pin itself is available in three different colour-coded lengths: 6 mm (rose), 9 mm (pink) and 10 mm (gold).
