Overwhelming response at the Century Symposium

More than four hundred participants at the FORESTADENT's anniversary event on the island Majorca / Top-class lecturers from all over the world presented the latest materials and treatment techniques

FORESTADENT invited to a special birthday party at the end of September. Hundreds of orthodontists from all over the world met at the Century Symposium on the Spanish Balearic Island Majorca to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the traditional company from Pforzheim. International well-known referees e.g. Prof. Dr. Vincent G. Kokich, Prof. Dr. Björn Zachrisson or the President of WFO Prof. Dr. Athanasios E. Athanasiou gave exciting speeches to present orthodontics at its best for a couple of days. As venue the historical congress palace in Palma was chosen.

Whether you wanted to listen to the latest result of comparing studies of self-legating bracket systems, interdisciplinary approaches to aesthetics or respectively the treatment of missing front teeth, risk management in orthodontics or the use of mini implants - the topics were manifold and of high interest. Amongst other things the latest materials and techniques were presented, impressive cases shown as well as forecasts of future developments in orthodontic treatments given.

Not only the scientific speeches were topping but also the social program offered high-class amusement to the participants. From traditional get-together with spectacular dances of native artists at the castle Bellver, culinary deliciousness within the Gala Diner in a typical Majorcan Finca, dance night in Palma's marina or golf tournament - there was something for everybody. Thus you could not only listen to interesting speeches but also relax with family, friends and colleagues in a casual environment.

After four exciting days full of information on the highest scientific level the FORESTADENT Century Symposium finished on the 30th of September. An all around successful event which is desired to be continued …
