The adult orthodontic market changing constantly with increased demands for aesthetic treatment options. The proportion of adults seeking orthodontic treatment is increasing in most parts of the world. An in depth review of the differences between adult and adolescent orthodontics will be presented. The course will cover initial assessment and expectation management, treatment planning, ideal and compromise solutions, camouflage treatment as well as a particular focus on aesthetics.
Throughout this presentation case examples will be used to demonstrate different aspects important to adult and aesthetic orthodontics. Appliances and aligner systems will be covered with case examples and comparisons between the management of the different appliance types will be presented.
