McLaughlin Bennett 5.0 (Catalog)

  • Properties

The extensive range of McLaughlin Bennett 5.0 archwires allows orthodontists to perfectly overcome almost any treatment task. What makes this possible is the archwires’ excellent properties, which ensure the best possible implementation of the McLaughlin Bennett 5.0 treatment concept in every stage of treatment. The heat-activated NiTi (HANT) archwires are available for aligning and levelling, and in the finishing stage too. Their force level guides the teeth to the ideal tip, torque and in / out. The steel archwires offer outstanding sliding mechanics due to their extremely smooth surface. It is recommended that they be used in non-extraction cases with an overbite / open bite, in extraction cases with anterior crowded arches or for settling, for example. The heat-treated steel archwires are ideally suited for the treatment control phases. To name but a few examples, they enable optimum overjet and overbite control as well as gap closure. The McLaughlin Bennett 5.0 series of arches are available in tapered, square and ovoid shapes.

  • Benefits
    1. Ideal solution for every treatment task thanks to the extensive selection of archwires
    2. Perfect implementation of the pre-programmed bracket system’s properties due to the best material characteristics:
e.g. the heat-activated NiTi archwires’ force level (optimum tip, torque and in / out)
e.g. improved spring hardness in steel archwires (better overbite, torque and arch shape control)
e.g. steel archwires have a smoother surface since they are diamond drawn (better sliding mechanics)
