TRADITION, INNOVATION, PROGRESS

One of the most important trade events for orthodontics recently took place in Los Angeles, California – the Annual Session of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO). FORESTADENT was also represented at this ground-breaking convention with an exhibition stand as the company presented its latest innovations.

Progress making the point – McLaughlin Bennett 5.0

With the McLaughlin Bennett 5.0 Prescription, the latest version of the time-tested McLaughlin/Bennett/Trevisi technique is now available to users. The prescription, available with Mini Sprint® II Brackets, takes into account recent clinical observations as well as current scientific and research findings in the form of adjusted torque and in/out values. The new McLaughlin Bennet 5.0 Prescription is completed with its own series of arches. Visitors to the exhibition stand were able to learn directly from Dr. Richard P. McLaughlin which role these modifications play in the course of treatment and what influence they have on the quality of the results. The renowned expert and co-developer of the globally successful treatment concept had been present at FORESTADENT’s stand during the convention and answered all questions at length.

At eye level – on-location presentations covering exciting topics

Presentations on Saturday and Sunday of the convention demonstrated that a friendly exchange with fellow specialists is always welcome. Four internationally acclaimed authorities – Dr. Ron Roncone, Dr. Straty Righellis, Dr. Aron Dellinger and Dr. Douglas Knight – gave short lectures on TIER V orthodontics, respiratory diagnostics, retention and facial aesthetics.

Optimised design, better treatment – Comfort Line 3D

Among the product presentations, the Comfort Line 3D buccal tubes were a true highlight and enjoyed widespread demand. The newest generation of the popular Comfort Line series is equipped with a new, compact 3D base. Despite a noticeably smaller adhesive pad, it offers optimal bonding strength and ensures safe, comfortable debonding after completion of therapy. An anatomical indent allows easier placement on the tooth. Depending on the treatment philosophy in use, the optional buccal indent is optimally fitted to the anatomical tooth fissure.

At FORESTADENT's exhibition stand, users of skeletal anchorage were able to get a first glance at a product innovation, which the company will soon present at the European congress in Nice: A clever, carefully designed tool, which will certainly prove to be very popular. You are right to be curious.

X. FORESTADENT Symposium in Málaga – register now!

Anyone who would like to be present at FORESTADENT’s classic symposium but hasn’t yet registered should act quickly. The event, which will take place from 3rd to 5th October 2019 in Málaga, Spain, is already filling up. None of the nine symposia thus far has registered so many participants this early. The lecture programme led by Dr. Ravindra Nanda, which also includes the digital innovations in orthodontics, has been further expanded with yet another top speaker. This will be Dr. Kenji Ojima of Japan, another authority in his field.
