The past weeks and months have clearly demonstrated just how well digital training and continuous education work in times of COVID-19. Instead of meeting up in person, thousands of orthodontists have taken the opportunity to exchange knowledge on screen. If you would like to take part in a “double” digital event, then mark the 20th and 21st November in your diary. Because, on this Friday and Saturday, you are invited to attend FORESTADENT's 1st Online Symposium. Through digitally networked participation, everyone interested will be able to expand their expertise on digital orthodontics from anywhere in the world.
Experts will share digital know-how
During these two days, internationally renowned experts will use the new online knowledge-sharing format to provide in-depth, concise and practical information on the latest digital processes in orthodontics. Prof. Dr. Ravindra Nanda will open the event. As well as demonstrating what is already digitally possible, he will also provide insight into what the future of orthodontics could hold. Dr. Eugen Moskalenko will concentrate on the different digital workflow options available for optimizing treatment efficiency and predictability of results, while Dr. Patrick Borbely and Dr. Giorgio Iodice will focus on clinical examples of digital orthodontics as a solution to a variety of treatment tasks. Dr. Silvana Allegrini and Lars Christensen will demonstrate how digital technologies can facilitate lingual orthodontic treatment and also how they contribute to better management of treatment processes in general. The presentations of Dr. Carlos Becerra and Dr. Carlos Flores will address the use of aligner technology and digital tools that support this. Stefano Negrini will explore how orthodontic services could work in future and which digital workflows are feasible, and the online event will conclude with Dr. Elie Amm’s critical reflections on the opportunities offered by digital orthodontics as well as on the importance of fundamentals.
