Nanda archwires (Catalog)
Three new archwires for bracket treatment are now available through FORESTADENT. Working in cooperation with Prof Dr Ravindra Nanda (of Connecticut, USA, and an established expert in the field of biomechanics and in orthopaedic forces research), the Pforzheim-based company has successfully developed innovative wires that enable even more effective tooth movements.
The unique properties of these innovative rectangular wires reflect the latest findings in materials research and development.
An archwire that is the latest generation of beta-titanium wires is being launched in the form of the Nanda BT3. The NBT3 is perfectly suited to use in the middle to finishing stages of treatment and has outstanding properties for even faster and more precise results. It has excellent formability and ductility and also impresses with its particularly smooth surface.
The Nanda braided copper-nickel-titanium wire is a braided rectangular archwire that offers low stiffness, can fill the bracket and is remarkably flexible. Its copper content also ensures a constant, even lower output of forces than with NiTi archwires.
The Nanda BT3 intrusion arch is a true talented all-rounder. The extremely ductile beta-titanium wire with pre-activated 30° V bends is ideal for the intrusion of anterior teeth. It can also be used to perform several other treatment tasks.
